As an oboist and Cor Anglais player, I try to touch, enchant and fascinate my audience and lead them into other worlds. Like an actor, I convey content and emotions. I read the musical text and interpret the composer's musical intention. In doing so, it is important to me to pay attention to the secrets hidden between the lines of music as I believe this is the key to render an interpretation personal and genuine.

As an oboe teacher, I try to convey this to my students as well while supporting them in developing the necessary instrumental techniques. In my eyes, the key factor is listening well. I listen to my students and support them to listen very carefully to their own interpretation. I assist them in learning to assess and reflect on what they hear.
